Susan 'Vodka' Collins Calls Kettle Colored Folks

Says Biden Has Politicized Supreme Court Picks

Immensely irrelevant white Sen. Susan “Vodka” Collins (R-Word, ME) today called President Biden clumsy in his handling of fulfilling a campaign promise to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court.

Collins claims she agrees that the Supreme Court should be more diverse, “but let’s not throw the white babies out with the bathwater and just flat out say you intend to appoint some colored girl to one of America’s most sacred positions,” Collins told host Jorge Streptococcalous on ABC News “This Week.”

“The way that the president has handled this nomination has been clumsy at best,” Collins continued. “Unlike the orderly and deliberative process the Senate adhered to in confirming such legal luminaries as legendary justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett, this non-white nominee, whoever she ends up being, will face intense scrutiny into her lack of qualifications or bonafides.

"It adds to the further perception that the court is a political institution like Congress when it is not supposed to be. It’s supposed to be free of political constraints like the company formerly known as Blackwater, Purdue Pharma, or Exxon Mobil.

“This country wasn’t founded by black women,” Collins added, “and in these uncertain times, there is no telling what such a nomination, should it go forward, might do to further enrage the forgotten Americans who protested so passionately on January 6th of last year.

“So I certainly am open to whomever President Trump decides to nominate, if it should come to that,” Collins concluded. “My job as a senator is to evaluate the qualifications of that person under the advice and consent role when he is finally reinstated, which is looking more likely with every rally.”
